HOW IS WEHOUNDS RESPONDING TO COVID-19?
In order to maintain the health and safety of our clients and Walker-Sitters, we have enacted the following policies:
FOR ALL CLIENTS
FOR NEW CLIENTS
Thank you for your understanding. We wish everyone good health and happiness during this stressful time.
FOR ALL CLIENTS
- All walkers will wear face coverings during visits.
- All walkers will wear disposable gloves, and / or sanitize hands between clients.
- We will no longer send pictures on visits in order to minimize contact with our phones.
- If a client is home, we will not enter. We ask that clients leash the dogs for us prior to setting out on a walk.
- We are no longer offering Slumber Parties at this time. Vacation Visits only for out-of-town clients.
- We are currently only accepting digital payment - no cash or checks.
- We are now offering our Training sessions via Zoom, Facetime, or Skype. Now is the perfect time to work on some of those training goals you meant to get to. With the extra quarantine time and focus, we can work wonders together!
FOR NEW CLIENTS
- We are no longer conducting in-person First Meet-Ups. They will be conducted on Zoom, Facetime, or Skype. Paperwork must be scanned or photographed back to us prior to connecting online. During our first paid service with you, we ask that you are home to facilitate a positive initial interaction with your pet.
- If a new client is a healthcare worker or "front-liner," they can receive 20% off their first full week of dog walking. They must present a valid medical employee ID or proof of employment.
Thank you for your understanding. We wish everyone good health and happiness during this stressful time.
